Swap Your Bad Habits For New Habits – The Best Way To Lose Weight

Have you ever wondered why you have become overweight? It may be something that you think of quite a lot – how on earth did this happen to me? Somehow we seem to get away with our little bad habits but they can add up and suddenly the fat seems to sneak up on you. One minute you’re fine and the next minute there seems to be a lot more of you.

You are forced to wear looser clothing and start avoiding mirrors and the bathroom scale. Eventually you get sick of looking and feeling this way and you step on to the diet treadmill. You give them a go – low carb, high carb, low fat, high protein and so on. You name it – you try it but somehow those plans that promise “fast weight loss” fail you. You do lose some weight but it quickly comes back on and the long-term weight loss that you really want eludes you. You feel frustrated and want some answers.

Your bad habits are what are working against you

Getting to the heart of your food/weight issues is going to mean some changes must be made to your lifestyle. You have got where you are today with the habits you have formed particularly around food and exercise. When you add extra layers such as a diet or exercise programs on top of faulty inner mind programming they are simply not going to work for very long.

Your mind software will simply override these short term solutions and you will revert back to your ‘default’ setting. If that default setting includes bad habits that you may have formed without even realizing it that is what will continue to self-sabotage you in your attempts to lose weight.  You have to identify these bad habits that have made you fat and replace them with new good habits that help you lose the weight and more importantly – KEEP IT OFF.

This is the heart of what permanent weight loss is all about. This is THE CORE that you need to drill down into. Obviously you are not going to know how to do this on your own. Your default setting has allowed you to become overweight and the ‘outer’ of your body is not going to allow you to lose the fat without some changes first as the mind (inner) and body (outer) are so closely connected. Fix the mind and the body will follow so quickly you won’t believe it.

Swapping out those bad habits will take a little time

Although this is no quick fix or no instant magic bullet, reprogramming yourself with new healthier habits to replace bad habits is so much easier than suffering the endless struggle with food and your weight. Good habits that lead to a slim, fit, healthy body are no harder to maintain than the bad habits that give you nothing but an overweight feel-bad body. The time is going to pass anyway so why not live your life in a body you like so you can live life to the fullest with energy and vitality?
